Davia, a Brazilian trans woman living in Dublin, fears being forced to return to her unsafe home country as her visa approaches expiration and she struggles to find a job willing to sponsor a new one. Torn between her beloved biological family in Brazil and her chosen queer family in Dublin — who offer her shelter and support after she is forced to leave her apartment — Davia faces an impossible decision.

As the deadline draws closer, she must choose between seeking asylum, returning unwillingly to Brazil, or disappearing into illegality to remain in the country she now calls home. Exploring themes of queerness, immigration, belonging, and identity, the film is an intimate portrait of survival and the search for acceptance.
